Diffusion

Why?

Diffusion is the spreading of particles from where there are many to where there are few.

A drop of purple ink in a glass of water slowly spreads until the whole glass is evenly purple.

Press the button to watch ink spread through water and oxygen move into blood.

Drag the picture to look around.

Oxygen particles move from the air sacs of the lungs, where there are many, into the blood, where there are few.
