Parts of an animal cell

Why?

An animal cell has a thin cell membrane around it, jelly-like cytoplasm inside and a nucleus that controls it.

A cheek cell is cut in half like a boiled egg: the soft outer skin is the membrane, the white is the cytoplasm and the yolk is the nucleus.

Press the button to label each part of an animal cell.

Drag the picture to look around.

A cell is shown as a water balloon filled with jelly, with a marble floating inside as the nucleus.
