Parts of a plant cell

Why?

A plant cell has everything an animal cell has plus a stiff cell wall, green chloroplasts and a big water-filled vacuole.

A plant cell is built like a box: the cardboard box is the wall, a big water balloon inside is the vacuole and green beads are the chloroplasts.

Press the button to find the extra parts of a plant cell.

Drag the picture to look around.

A leaf cell fills with water so its vacuole swells and the cell stands firm; when the water drains away the leaf droops.
