One cell or many

Why?

Some living things are made of just one cell, while plants and animals are made of millions of cells working together.

A single amoeba oozes across the screen, stretching out an arm to swallow a speck of food, all by itself in one cell.

Press the button to watch a one-celled amoeba feed and a frog egg divide into many cells.

Drag the picture to look around.

One cell splits into 2, then 4, 8, 16 and on, building up into the shape of a tiny frog.
