Photosynthesis inside the chloroplast

Why?

In the chloroplast, light energy splits water and makes ATP, then the Calvin cycle uses that energy to turn carbon dioxide into glucose.

Light hits the stacked thylakoids, water splits and oxygen bubbles out, while in the stroma a wheel of carbon dioxide turns into sugar.

Press the button to follow light into a chloroplast and out as sugar.

Drag the picture to look around.

Pondweed under a lamp gives off a stream of oxygen bubbles that speeds up as the lamp is moved closer.
